Frank’s Steaks: Exceptional Dining Experience in Rockville Centre

Have been coming here for years with family and to celebrate special occasions. The food is incredible, best skirt steak ever!!! The service is incredible as well, Hubie is the best server out there!

Truly amazing. Reserved dinner for Thanksgiving and was not at all disappointed. We had the turkey special dinner and it was delicious. I am always pleased with Franks but they truly make a holiday enjoyable. Their squash soup is thick and tasty. They also had a salad with goat cheese and raspberry vinegarette. Very good. The dinner portion was generous and very good. Compliments to the chef. Dessert was pumpkin pie and it also was very good. The service is outstanding. We do have a favorite waiter but in general the service is always above par by all the staff. Frank's is a comfortable and truly excellent restaurant. I highly recommend it.

11/16/24. A friend of mine has been raving about the porterhouse at Franks so off we went since I never had it. Started with some cocktails at the bar, then sat down with my favorite waiter, John/JB. We started off with the slab bacon and the ribs. I was surprised how good the ribs were, fall off the bone. I'm glad we tried these! The porterhouse (with sides of creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and mushrooms) arrived and we were not disappointed at all. And for dessert we had a sample of everything but my favorite is the rainbow cake. Everything was cooked as requested and delicious! STELLAR service by John. Elliot, the newish manager, was friendly and greeted all tables. The night was def enjoyable.

Chris and Alex are the best . Sit at the bar and enjoy some apps or a nice cocktail . Skirt steak is delish !!

First time at Franks. Parking was easy in lot next door. Bar area whimsical with it's hanging florals and moving butterflies.Staff was very pleasant, went through the specials. We chose the Romanian Skirt steak and the Lamb chops (double). Creamed spinach and crispy potato balls. For dessert the chocolate mousse and rice pudding. The sommelier was amazing with his suggestions and explanations. Great first time experience.

Food was amazing, the service was on point and our waiter Ubaldo was friendly and polite, and the ambiance reminded me of an old school steak house. Definitely going back.

Got to say was a bit scared when we went in for dinner on a Sunday and there was only one other table there. The walk in is beautiful. Restaurant feels like you're in someone's living room. One star off for the smell in this place, think old people/newspaper/ammonia? The food is great. Awesome skirt steak, delicious, tender, made exactly how you want it. Bacon strip was an amazing shared appetizer, crispy and fatty. Sides were decent, maybe a bit underseasoned. Service was good.

Wow! Delicious food! Came here for dinner for my husband's 30th birthday. Made a reservation the day before. Had a nice booth. Service was excellent. Caesar salad was delicious and so was the skirt steak my husband got and filet mignon I got. Cooked perfectly! The mashed potatoes were tasty too. They brought out a birthday dessert for my husband which was so sweet of them, it was a cheesecake and it was yummy! We can't wait to go back!!

We came here on account that on Cinco de Mayo all of the Mexican restaurants were full. Upon arrival, the parking lot connected to the restaurant was small and there was a big puddle in the middle. Since we couldn't find parking anywhere else my friend parked in the puddle after letting me out. The greeter was pleasant and we were quickly seated. Water and bread followed. We both ordered the raspberry margarita. They were delicious and well made. We ordered appetizers of calamari with a remolido sauce and a wedge salad. The calamari was a little over-cooked for my taste and the sauce provided a different flare. Our entrees were the Petite Skirt Steak and Shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. My friend enjoyed her shrimp meal. The skirt steak has a unique marinade with a sweet taste. The steak was properly prepared, medium rare and it was very tender. I am not sure I liked the sweet marinade infused into the steak. But that more preference than criticism. The ambiance was good with a little dated feel. There was a table that had a huge chandelier over it, close down to the table. That table for 8 was empty so not sure how the proximity would impact patrons, but it was old in style. Nothing very memorable about the interior that stuck out. The service was great. We were quickly provided bread and water and our server was very helpful in explains the conversation side red selections. The food came out at a good pace but we didn't feel like it was rushed and pre-prepared. I would definitely come back for when I want to eat at a high end steak house and try another choice of steak.
